A sports lover from way back, it was almost inevitable that our very own sporty spice instructor would find her way into the world of Pilates and rehabilitation. Her list of qualifications include a Bachelor of Exercise and Sports Science, a Certificate IV in Pilates and Diplomas in both Clinical Pilates and Clinical Exercise Physiology – so it’s safe to say that you’re in very experienced hands in one of Madde’s classes.
She’s completed practicums in clinical Pilates and functional rehabilitation and when she’s not whipping you into shape at Pure Moves, Madde works as an Exercise Physiologist at ProMotion Physio. Busy girl!
Since joining the Pure Moves team, Madde has quickly established herself as a firm favourite on the timetable, and we think her amazing experience, teaching style and gorgeous personality have a lot to do with that.
So what does instructor Madde get up to on a typical day? Let’s find out…
I wake up around 5am, make a coffee (essential!) and head straight to Pure Moves where I start teaching at 6am.
I’m usually finished my morning of work at about 10.30am, which is when I go home and cook something yummy for brunch like a roast veg salad. Then it’s usually hanging out with my pup, do a few jobs around home, go over notes and prepare for the afternoon.
In the late afternoon I am back at the studio for my evening classes, which I love! My day is pretty much done at about 7.30pm so it’s dinner and chill out time, I’m loving Yellowstone on Stan at the moment and I can never go past a sneaky piece of chocolate after dinner! I try and get to bed at about 9.30pm as my days start pretty early.
My daily wellness non-negotiable is Nutra Collagen Powder which I either mix into a glass of water or smoothie. It’s such a great boost for healthy hair, skin and nails and I definitely notice a difference when I take it regularly. I’m also a huge fan of Drunk Elephant skincare. I love their approach to clean beauty whilst still remaining highly effective with their active formulas, they’ve got some great treatment serums.
